Enter and View Report - 2023 GP Surgeries
In 2023 we visited GP Surgeries as part of our Enter and View Programme. We gathered patient feedback and gave recommendations to the practices. In this report, we have gathered the data from all our visits to look at trends and what patients think of GP surgeries in County Durham.
Some Recommendations
- Could the process of making appointments be made more simple?
- Can GP surgeries explain how appointments that are urgent, non-urgent, and referrals are managed?
- Could the benefits of using local pharmacies be promoted more through the surgeries.
- It would be very helpful if the surgeries could explain the roles of the staff members.
- The surgeries could use social media to provide more information on how to use their website/e-consult/staff sicknesses/unexpected closures or if a staff member is off and needs to cancel appointments.
