Our trained representatives went into Enterprise House to get feedback from the patients using the adult community mental health service. Service users and staff shared a range of experiences and feedback with us on the day and also sent feedback.
Recommendations
- Improve staff training and support, especially around ‘Care plan development’ and users ‘personal files’.
- Ensure staff follow up on support offered outside of appointments.
- Look at how to manage the issue of access to rooms and confidentiality as the rooms are not soundproof.
- Check with individual users how they would like their Mental Health history used.
- Consider Improving signposting to community resources/activities and other types of localised support, especially as sessions on site have waiting lists.
